Is my first lesson really free?
Yes. Tap Claim Your FREE Lesson and the discount is applied automatically, no code needed. No commitments, no payment info, 100% free. It's how we make sure SafeStroke is the right fit for your swimmer. (The free first lesson applies to single lessons only, not packs.)
How do the lesson packs work?
Pick a 6, 12, or 24-pack and pay once. You'll set up an account, then schedule each lesson whenever it works for you. Schedule a few now, sign in any time to book the rest. Lessons can be used any time during the season.
Are there any membership or annual fees?
No. Unlike most group swim schools, SafeStroke has no memberships, no contracts, and no annual fees. You pay for the lessons you book and nothing else.
Are private swim lessons worth it compared to group lessons?
At most group swim schools, a 30-minute class works out to $35 to $50 once you break down the monthly rate, and that time is shared by several swimmers. A private lesson costs about the same and every minute goes to your child, so most swimmers progress noticeably faster.
Where do lessons take place?
All lessons are held at our Clifton pool at 199 Scoles Avenue, Clifton, NJ.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Every confirmation email includes a link to reschedule or cancel online, up to 12 hours before the lesson. Within 12 hours of the start time the schedule is locked, so lessons can't be moved or canceled. Canceled lessons are not refunded, even with more than 12 hours notice (a canceled pack lesson returns the credit to your pack), so if a time stops working, reschedule instead: it's always free with 12 hours notice.
